Sniper Suspect Muhammad Guilty of Murder

Thank god they convicted him ever so quickly without too much deliberation. I think he should be shot to death in his own style, like shooting him down when he is least expecting it.

Monday Morning (Afternoon really!!!) Musings

Over the weekend saw the movie School of Rock boy that movie rocked or what!!! Just unbelievable fun. If I am allowed to vote an actor for an academy award Jeff Black definitely gets my vote. I think it is very difficult to make audiences laugh for 90mins, non-stop. He just had so much amount of physical intensity, I don't know how he managed to carry so much amount of energy throughout the movie. The best thing I liked about the director; he just didn't meddle with the pace and fun of the movie by adding unnecessary moral, emotional crap where the protagonist has to feel bad about his actions.
Over the weekend I found not the whole screenplay but kinda like shot by shot description of Kill Bill Vol.2. They call it the spoiler, I bet it is. I had to control myself and not read that because on one side I am thinking boy it would be so much fun to know what happens (because I loved the 1st one so much and QT is such a great director that right now I do desperately want to see the Vol.2) but the other side tells me if I do that all the surprise from the movie will be lost. I couldn't control myself and did read one sequence and boy it was amazing, unexpected. Should I spill the beans well may be not.
I am not a big fan of reality tv, actually have never seen any reality shows. But over the weekend saw Queer Eye for the Straight Guy for the first time at full length. Boy it was funny. The fashion guy(don't remember his name??) and the interior decorator guy were just killers. The other 3 are ok but subdued. I don't know if I can see another show for an hour but its worth watching once.

A long hiatus

After more than a months break I felt like writing something. I guess just felt that the blog was becoming more like a news databse and my thoughts on the news, kinda felt like a news analyst of sorts:) The whole political commentary thing, I felt it was right from my and my friends perspective but those were just THE VIEWS. I just started feeling like blabbering and complaining about things but not making any contribution to it. kinda felt like standing on the naka having a cutting and arguing with friends, which is a good feeling but made me think that does this have a place in a journal? But then realized if this place is about my state of mind then yeah they do so I guess I can write what I want:) Man can't wait to be in India for sure. 3.5 years is a long time even though it does not seem like I have been away for such a long time.
Anyways felt like writing because over the weekend couldnot resist going for another Sex and the City marathon. Boy that is one show I will/am already missing (No offense to The Simpsons I don't have to miss that show since it;s still going on strong). Saw episodes 19 thru 24 on HBO on Demand. Its quiet a revelation how I don't have a life and a lifestyle like them but still can relate to some of the thoughts they proclaim. The way people look at relationships, life, the gay situation et all. I guess the show does have a suttle messsage in all the stories or may be it's not a message but something to think about in a way thought provoking.
Anyways I think now the show is coming to an end (somebody must have thought about this before) but still I thought about (Corliss said the same thing too) HBO should come up with a show from a male perspective by having a male version of Sex and the City. It's not like the show didn't talk about the male perspective but I do think that its not enough even though everybody says that males are shallow et all I guess they too have a unique perspective ( about everything ranging from clothes to relationships just like Sex and the City). Anyways just a thought hope they do come up with a similar show someday. They may or may not do such a great job but it will be a different perspective to look at.
